Yesterday, here in Nome we had quite a doozy of a storm! With gusts of wind up to 60 miles per hour, and the Bering Sea coming up over the seawall and flooding downtown it was quite the adventure! It was a storm that Nome hasn’t seen the likes of in nearly 40 years! Along with the flooding came other exciting wind & rain activites such as power loss. It was pretty exciting.
